Mp3 Not syncing with pc

Subject: Mp3 Not syncing with pc Sun Nov 30, 2008 1:29 am

My MP3 wont sync with my PC

This prob only happened since i reformatted my computer. I was searching it online and some people say u need windows xp service pack 2. But if i got 3 it shouldnt matter should it? Also one of my mates had that prob with his ipod so he reset it (wiped it clear) and then it worked for him. I only want to do that as a last resort =P

Um yeah any help would be appreciated.
its a Samsung 2gb yp-k3 and its white, the shop i got it from said white was diff to black (not just colour)

Was there any drivers that was with your MP3? Are you USB ports working? Have you installed your latest drivers for your USB?

just reformat your pc without backing anything up and then reinstall windows, but do SP2 then SP3

Well my usb ports work......
Wouldnt have a clue about the drivers for em.......

And im not reformatting my pc again, that means tomorrow im going to use it loads of usage dling all the updates and shit again and drivers and what not. So no reformatting (unless we change to vodafone this month)

Just reformat your mp3 ... i know it sucks, but 99% of the time it will work. I remember i took mine to school to put music on the school comps for when im bored, and the bell went so i was in a rush to get the bus so i just pulled it out and turned the comp off at the power point (lol ... fastest way Smile

) and i got home and it wouldnt read it, reformatted and worked. Same shti happened with my psp..

BTW most people keep all there music on there comp, external HD or a 4GB usb you get from harveys for $20 ...

Well i tried to reset my mp3 but the button did nothing, i did it like 10 times and nothing happened on any of the times, it just turned itself off and tehn wehn i turned it back on all the same songs were still on it and it still wouldnt sync with my pc.

How will they know i fucked the comp up if i turn it off at the back? On monday (yesterday.) was in IST and i was trying to log into this computer, i logged in, some error came up and the computer shut down .. could not get it working after that lOl ... I pressed the button at the back, made the noise, but didnt turn on LOL .... Macs FAIL
